Homemade Raw Vegan Organic Chocolate

Choose your Chocolate wisely! Here is one way to make your own at home. Enjoy!

Here is the difference between CACAO and COCOA

CACAO: Raw chocolate super food, high in antioxidants, aids in weight LOSS, promotes healthy skin, enhances mood, contains essential vitamins and minerals, improves brain function, quells headache. Promotes heart health and is a natural aphrodisiac.

COCOA: Found in processed store bought chocolate bars, candy bars and baking/cooking powders. Very low levels of CACAO, processed, heat refined, stripped of nutrients, often contains milk fat, hydrogenated unhealthy oils/fats, artificial flavorings, chemical flavorings, contributes to weight GAIN, contains high amounts of added wax and preservatives.

Homemade Raw Vegan Organic Chocolate

INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS:

-1 CUP RAW ORGANIC CACAO NIBS

-1/4 CUP ORGANIC RAW ALMOND MILK

-1/6-1/4 CUP RAW ORGANIC AGAVE

-2-3 TBSP. RAW ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN COCONUT OIL

(Gently warmed until liquefied)

-1-2 DASHES ORGANIC CINNAMON

-LARGE MIXING BOWL

-FOOD PROCESSSOR

-SPATULA and WHISK

-SILICONE BAKING CUPS OR CUPCAKE CUPS

-OPTIONAL: Raw Organic Almonds, Cashews, Walnuts, Pistachios, Raisins, Currants, Sea Salt granules, Diced or Dried Fruits, etc…

1.      Grind 1 cup of organic raw CACAO nibs in food processor for 5-6 minutes until a thick paste is formed, it will feel slightly grainy. Stop and scrape down sides with spatula occasionally if they get stuck

2.      Scoop CACAO paste into bowl, slowly add raw organic Almond Milk and Agave and dash of organic cinnamon while mixing by hand with a whisk

NOTE: Mix items in slowly for desired consistency AND taste test while mixing for desired sweetness. Add more or less to your liking.

3.      Add liquefied raw organic extra virgin Coconut Oil to CACAO mixture

NOTE: To liquefy coconut oil, place in a stainless steel bowl and submerge base in sink of hot water or place on a candle warmer. Do not microwave or place on stovetop, high temperatures and microwave heat will kill all nutrients and denature the healthy oil.

4.      In silicone or paper cupcake cups pour a small amount of CACAO mixture to cover the bottom

5.      Add Optional Add in’s of your choice to the cups

6.      Pour CACAO mixture over optional add in’s to cover them

7.      Top with optional add in’s to decorate or leave smooth

8.      Place in freezer on a level surface or tray for at least 1 hour or until solid

9.      Once solid remove cups and enjoy right away! They will start to melt if they are left out to long
